“Resilient
lines” and colorful interactive wall niches, or pods are dominant features of
this two-level office for an organization which promotes disaster resilient
buildings and infrastructure. The “resilient lines” here represent elasticity
or “the ability to come back”. These lines are converging and diverging at
various pressure points and spreading across the reception area and the
informal lounge. The colorful pods follow a color psychology and thus have
spaces accordingly. They are monochrome in their theme and all the furniture in
those pods match their respective color. The informal lounge is dominantly on
the entry level floor to have an energetic welcome.
